Visionary Journeys is the immersive experience exhibition at the Louis Vuitton concept store “LV The Place Bangkok“, accompanying the opening of the concept store LV The Place Bangkok. Besides being the hottest photo spot at the moment, the Asian-first Le Café Louis Vuitton is also in high demand—walk-in reservations may not guarantee a seat. Gaggan at Louis Vuitton depends on how deep your pockets are. These four attractions Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys, Le Café Louis Vuitton, LV The Place Bangkok, Gaggan at Louis Vuitton can be considered must-visit attractions in Bangkok in 2024, with no exceptions. A flagship store is truly a flagship store—the exterior is notably different from the independent counter at Siam Paragon. LV The Place Bangkok’s arrangement on the second floor is also unique! After visiting Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys, the exit leads inside the store, so it’s worth taking a walk around before leaving.

Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys

This “Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys” is an immersive exhibition showcasing many of Louis Vuitton‘s rich body of work and innovative concepts. Curated by OMA, the architecture firm led by Shohei Shigematsu. Five themed rooms “Trunk Scapes,” “Louis Vuitton Origins,” “LV Icons,” “Artistic Collaborations,” and “Souvenirs”—each room is filled with various bags presenting Louis Vuitton’s history and creative evolution experience.
Trunk Scapes
Upon entering, this area displays a tunnel-like trunk art piece—also a zone that catches the eye and prompts endless photos. It contains 96 vintage Louis Vuitton trunks, surrounded by travel imagery backgrounds, creating a time-travel effect.

Origin Story and Culture
Showcasing rare vintage trunks from the Paris archives, exploring the evolution of these iconic works, while also allowing visitors to understand the progression of styles and the brand.

LV Icons
Highlighting renowned creative talents such as Nicolas Ghesquière and Pharrell Williams, this section displays iconic bags within “bubbles” symbolizing creative inspiration.

Artist Collaborations
Showcasing Louis Vuitton’s collaborations with artists like Yayoi Kusama and brands like Supreme—these collaborations hold significant meaning for LV, being a key factor in helping the brand break out of its circle! The venue features 360-degree light and shadow effects projected onto metal bag surfaces—a visual experience that’s my favorite exhibition zone!

Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys Souvenirs
The souvenirs include posters, postcards, pencils, and canvas bags—I’m sure everyone knows what they’re here for XD Unfortunately, my luck wasn’t great, and I only got postcards and pencils, but the packaging is really exquisite!

Only available until the end of this year—friends who want to see Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys, please don’t miss out!
Le Café Louis Vuitton
LV Café is really difficult to reserve, but you can register for the waitlist when the store opens every day. My suggestion is to register for Le Café Louis Vuitton first when the Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys exhibition opens, then view the exhibition—or if someone is late, you can directly enter the store. This is really unpredictable; it’s all about luck.
Latest Bangkok LV Café Strategy
Weekdays only, approximately 9:20-9:50 AM for walk-in spots. The first five groups on-site have a chance to be seated within 30 minutes after the store opens!

The store has a luxurious style—different from the small-scale pop-up store at Bellavita in Taipei, there’s no minimum spending here. There are many photo-worthy scenes in the store, and many details like tableware, coffee, and cakes are exclusive Louis Vuitton patterns that will keep you clicking away!

Coffee prices here are around 240-280. We ordered coffee, Ice Cream Parfait, and two special cakes—of course, there are LV logo-shaped cakes that can’t be made elsewhere!
The store also has souvenirs available for purchase—popcorn, cookies, and more—starting at around a thousand baht, which is quite memorable. Of course, this doesn’t include hard-shell luggage XD. If you can’t finish your meal or can’t wait for a seat, you can also choose takeout, and you’ll get an LV paper bag—another way to get the bag!

Image | array of LV SouvenirsAlthough LV Café is everywhere and Taiwan also has a pop-up store, each store has different features and localized themes—it’s definitely worth planning ahead to experience it. Store spending is approximately 700-800 baht per person on average, which is much higher than local coffee shops. Who said this was just an LV café?

Additionally, please note that reservation registration will require a phone number or contact number. At this time, whether your network includes a number is important. Don’t forget to choose JOYTEL’s eSIM plan that provides a phone number—not only for Le Café Louis Vuitton, but it will be useful for other restaurants as well.
Gaggan at Louis Vuitton
Gaggan is a famous Indian cuisine chef—those who follow Netflix food programs should be very familiar with him. His restaurants have opened and closed multiple times, and every theme is different—truly talented. At the same time, he has also received many awards.

For detailed reservation rules, see here Gaggan at Louis Vuitton.
