In the recently announced July Asia’s 50 Best Bar, there are quite a few bars in Bangkok on the list. This time there are really not many bars we can visit, so following the list on the ranking is definitely the right choice! Bar Us is a very special的存在 in Bangkok, offering a drinking experience almost like dining at a high-end restaurant, which makes Bar Us very distinctive. Some people might find it confusing, and some even don’t like the cocktails here.
Each bartender dresses like a scientist, presenting special cocktails to customers with experimental items from the shelf. The space here is fully visible but the seating is very comfortable.

This concept bar was created by the team behind Messenger service Bar, which is also on the list. Their inspiration is to make drinks feel like a high-end restaurant, with a menu featuring main courses, entrees, and desserts. Starting with light and refreshing options, gradually moving to savory, rich cocktail choices, and ending with dessert cocktails. Of course, there’s no强制 you must follow their rules—everything is based on your mood and preferences for the day!

However, in terms of balance and flavor ratios, they truly have their厉害之处. The main course area cocktails are definitely worth trying! Also, you can skip the cocktails not on the menu here. The director ordered a Classic Martini which was not impressive at all, though they used my favorite Luxardo London Dry Gin, it barely passed. So we still recommend ordering from their cocktail menu!
